Occupational Therapy (OT) is a type of treatment can be very effective for people that are experiencing pain, dealing with an injury, illness, or have a disability that makes it difficult to care for yourself, complete household chores, move around, or partake in daily activities. It can help you perform any kind of task at school, work, or home and better adjust to your environment using tools such as assistive devices if needed. OT can help you do specific functions such as eating without help from others, participating in leisure activities, working, bathing and getting dressed, or household chores like cooking and cleaning.
